University of Baltimore, Student Parking Proposal, Discuss Here!

Hey Everyone,
I know that there are a great number of grad students that are not particularly enthused about this new student parking proposal. Even though it will bring more parking to campus, we will have to pay a great deal more money in the process; not to mention we will have to pay by the hour! Not good. Similarly, this new parking proposal might go against the universities strategic plan for the future, in which UB wants more student participation in campus events and organizations. Who would want to come spend more time on campus if you have to pay to do so? Well, as students, we do have a voice and we can work together to solve this parking issue, if you have any comments or suggestions, please voice them here!

I can truthfully say the whole parking situation has ticked me off. As it is I'm paying so much for gas and other expenses that I can barely get by, and that's not even counting the student loans that I will be somehow forced to pay back at some point. Screw UB!!!!! I am not going to pay their fees because the administration mismanaged their funds. Maybe someone should get fired and face the real world consequences for their actions. As for me, after this semester I will officially withdraw from the university and go somewhere else. I'm not putting up with the garbage anymore.
